                                              Louis Pastuer was one of the greatest scientistsof the 19-th century.He founded the science of microbiology-the study of organisms not visible with naked eye.He was born at Dole,France on 1822.He started his studies on 1843 at Ecole Normale Superiere,Paris.Pastuer believed that science should have practical uses, and that scientists and business people shold not live in seperate worlds.In1849 he married Marrie Laurent. In 1854 he became the Dean of the facultyof science at the University of Lille.In1881 he began his work on Rabies disease.And in 1882 he was able to prove the effectiveness of the anthrax vaccine.He first injected the vaccine on1885 in Joseph Meister against rabies.In1882 he became the Director of the Pastuer InstituteIn 1895 the Pastuer Institute's building was completed.His solutions to problems in wine and silk industries made him the people's scientist.This great personality died on 1895.



THOMAS ALVA EDISON



                                                          One of the greatest inventors of all time, Thomas Alva Edison produced a number of inventions that changed the world- electric lightening, sound recording, and an early form of moving pictures, among many others. He had little formal schooling, but he was fascinated by science. Edison was born in 1847 in a small town Ohio,USA. In 1876, he moved to Menlo Park.In 1877 he created the phonograph.In the very next year he invented the carbon microphone,for use in telephone mouthpieces. In1879 patents the electric bulb. His last invention was the Kinetoscope.This Great MasterMind died in 1931 when he was 87.His greatest invention accepted by the world is Electric Bulb.
