LOUIS PASTUER

Louis Pastuer was one of the greatest scientistsof the 19-th century. He founded the science of microbiology-the study of organisms not visible with naked eye.He was born at Dole,France on 1822.He started his studies on 1843 at Ecole Normale Superiere,Paris.Pastuer believed that science should have practical uses, and that scientists and business people shold not live in seperate worlds.In1849 he married Marrie Laurent. In 1854 he became the Dean of the facultyof science at the University of Lille.In1881 he began his work on Rabies disease. And in 1882 he was able to prove the effectiveness of the anthrax vaccine. He first injected the vaccine on1885 in Joseph Meister against rabies.In1882 he became the Director of the Pastuer InstituteIn 1895 the Pastuer Institute's building was completed. His solutions to problems in wine and silk industries made him the people's scientist. This great personality died on 1895.

THOMAS ALVA EDISON

One of the greatest inventors of all time, Thomas Alva Edison produced a number of inventions that changed the world- electric lightening, sound recording, and an early form of moving pictures, among many others. He had little formal schooling, but he was fascinated by science. Edison was born in 1847 in a small town Ohio,USA. In 1876, he moved to Menlo Park.In 1877 he created the phonograph. In the very next year he invented the carbon microphone, for use in telephone mouthpieces. In1879 patents the electric bulb. Great scientists of the world

ISSAC NEWTON

The Great scientist of all time Sir Issac Newton was born in1643 at Woolsthorpe in England. He was the leader of scientific thought in England,he worked out how the universe is held together. His other discoveries are the secrets of  light and colour, and the calculas. At school he was more intrested in making mathematical devices than studying. He started to go to Cambridge University in 1661. In 1665 he formulated his three laws of motion.Newton did most of his work without the help from assistants or colleagues. The weakness of this scientist is that his work was often affected by his furious temper and his inability to take critiscism from other scientists. He spent much of his time in dabbling in alchemy, and it is thought that his poor health in his later life was due to his testing substances by tasting them.

Great Scientists of the world

ALBERT EINSTEIN

Albert Einstein born in1879 in Ulm,Germany was a scieintific genius who take a great effort in improving Science. In school's his marks were too low and his teacher told
him that he will become a burden for the world. But his interest in science made him study well.In the year of 1886 he started his studies at the Instittute of Technology at Zurich in Switzerland. Then in 1922 he started working in a Patent Office at Bern in Switzerland. He married Mileva who was a mathematician and a scientist. In 1905,he united space and time in one mathematical description. He got Doctrate for writing the Special Theory of Relativity.Ten years later in 1915 he wrote the General Theory of Relativity. This theory explained the famous equation E=m2. Many people doubtedhis Theoris but later investigation proved that he was correct.Even though being a Geat Scientist he had to move to America to avoid Nazi persecution as a Jew.His work paved the way for the creation of nuclear weapons. In 1952 he was offered the presidency of Israel. This Great personalty died in 1955 at Princeton In USA.
